First Time Fireworks

So I read (skimmed) something on how to shoot fireworks and decided to give it a try. Maybe next time I will try to focus, too. :p Whoops.

I think this was rather successful, but I need to adjust my aperture. Eh. Trial and error. Waiting 'til New Year's now.

DERBY PHOTOS...finally

So I'm finally putting together some of my favorite pictures. It's hard to narrow down, so I'm just going to put together a collection today and then some tomorrow...until I am bored.

All in all, the Derby was an incredible experience. I really learned a lot from Bill on how to set up these cameras and whatnot. It was amazing to be with all the pros and watch the horses each day.

Here are a few images I pulled off my hard drive. The racing shots are on a friend's hard drive, so they will have to wait.

I finally decided to put together a blog as an introduction to my work. As far as my first post, I have put together some past images that I really enjoy.












Look for posts soon, as I will be working with Sports Illustrated during the Kentucky Derby.
